Publishers are still very grand living within the platform generation. Nonetheless they’re moreover straddling the AI generation, with the likes of OpenAI and Perplexity standing in as the next generation of platforms for publishers to handle, as the recent Digiday Publishing Summit made definite.
“The AI generation goes to downside us in utterly recent and diversified ways,” said Bloomberg Media chief digital officer Julia Beizer.
At some stage in closed-door town hall periods and in interviews with Digiday, publishing executives talked about the challenges they face, from worn platforms cherish Facebook and Reddit to boot to those posed by the recent AI platforms. And from what that they needed to claim, the programs for addressing those two sets of challenges also can fair now not be all that diversified, as lined within the video below.
